Zoe Strimpel is a journalist, author of two indispensable dating books and a dating scholar. Having recently completed a MPhil at Cambridge in gender studies she is currently the Asa Briggs PhD scholar at Sussex, working on a thesis about the late 20th century history of dating.
My latest book, The Man Diet (Avon, Harper Collins), chronicles my attempt to wean myself off what I like to call "junk food love": the kind of man action and man-related thought that makes a woman feel worse, not better. It's an exploration of the pressures and challenges — as well as the opportunities — facing single women today, and provides a must-have set of "rules" for overhauling your single womanhood. For the best, naturally. And, unlike food diets, it's fun and interesting. Buy it here!
